PRICING QUESTIONS

What does the per-student price actually cover?

The per-student price is the platform (SaaS) — the modules available in your chosen tier. International & Boarding includes everything (admissions, classes, finance, boarding, safeguarding, etc.). Medium & Non-International covers core modules but excludes Boarding, Infirmary, Safeguarding, and Pastoral. SMS credit and Hylen eSchool Ai are billed separately. A technology partnership is quoted project by project, not per student.

What happens when a student joins mid-year?

They're billed the full academic year. The fee tracks the academic calendar, not the calendar month — that's the only way per-student annual pricing stays predictable for your bursar.

How is my price band set?

By your active-student count at the start of each academic year. Your band is fixed for that year, so your bursar can plan the whole year from one number — joiners mid-year are billed the full year at your band.

How are credits priced for Hylen eSchool Ai?

Credit packs come in small / medium / large bands; the per-credit price drops as the pack size goes up. Most schools start with the small pack and only buy more once they see how their staff use the assistant. We send a written credit-price sheet on the pilot call.

Do you have a free trial?

No. Every account is a real customer with a paid pilot month. If the pilot doesn't work for you, the agreement covers the exit cleanly.

Can I move between tiers later?

Yes. Upgrading between the three platform tiers — Medium & Non-International, International & Boarding, and Premium — takes us about half a day, and your records stay exactly where they are. If your school needs software built around it, you can step up to a technology partnership at any time.

What about discounts?

We discount multi-year commitments and not-for-profit schools. Ask on the call.
